Stoddart delivered six impressive timber skillion shelters and a range of Town & Park metro furniture to Wangal Park in Croydon as part of the former brick pit's transformation into the biggest open space in Sydney’s inner west.
Designed, manufactured and installed for Burwood City Council in NSW, the furniture features predominantly hardwood timber construction with stainless steel fixings and timber shade screens, providing ample coverage for recreational activities.
Five of the six shelters easily accommodate two metro table settings and a barbeque at 6x6m in size, while the remaining shelter, at 12x10m, provides for six metro table settings and two barbeques.
The stately shelters and furniture are located along the south border of the park, facing inwards towards the green space in an impressive arc.
Stoddart’s shelter products are a warm and inviting addition to a fantastic redevelopment. The team were proud to be a part of a project that promotes green spaces in cities and encourages and facilitates active and outdoor lifestyles for Australians of all ages.
Stoddart are synonymous with infrastructure solutions in any outdoor landscape throughout Australia and are the logical choice for high quality, long-lasting products that complement any setting.
