PELICAN WATERS NEW GOLF CLUB FACILITIES

Urban+ was fortunate to work in conjunction with Palm Lakes resorts to incorporate its Aston Suite into the new Golf Club Facilities at Pelican Waters. Palm Lakes resorts are known for their stylish, upmarket, over 50’s lifestyle resorts and were looking for a range of furniture that was not only luxurious and stylish but was sustainably made.
As part of the development project, Urban+ were also commissioned to provide a custom designed Golf Bag and Bike Rack station for members to be able to securely leave their clubs while enjoying some refreshments before or after the game.
Out on the course, Urban+ also designed a dual-purpose recycling and waste station that had a central sand station incorporated for the players to be able to replace those divets from that slightly wayward swing. 
The brief required that all custom products were to keep to the same design ethos of the Aston Suite. Recyclable composite battens were chosen instead of timber to reduce the carbon footprint and any ongoing maintenance costs.
The colour palette of Surf mist White or Heritage Green was used depending on the location so that it would blend either with the natural golf course environment or in keeping with the crisp white of the club house surroundings. The Palm Lakes logo was also added for the final finishing touches.
