Designed for Fermob by Tristan Lehner, the Balad lamp generated a huge amount of interest among architects and designers at Australia's most exclusive design trade event, Denfair 2016, for its eco-friendly and innovative applications.

This fun, accessible and colourful lamp is a USB-chargeable LED lantern that can be used to light up gardens, verandahs, outdoor rooms, decks, patios, pergolas and campsites. Highly portable, the Balad Lamp can be placed in any alfresco space in need of illumination.

Equipped with rechargeable LED technology, the Balad is economically priced, has a long lifespan, and can be used over and over again, making it good for the environment. Cool to the touch, quick to start up and fitted with a lacquered aluminium handle, this lamp is a safe and convenient solution for outdoor areas.

The Balad Lamp is available in six Fermob colours - Verbena, Fuchsia, Carrot, Storm Grey, Nutmeg and Aubergine. It comes in two different sizes (small and large), and is equipped with adjustable brightness settings. Depending on the intensity setting used, the battery life of the Balad can last anywhere from 8-28 hours.

To increase functionality and portability, Fermob has created two stands that can be used with the Balad Lamp (vertical and offset). Fashioned from metal, these stands afford overhead lighting for tables and outdoor settings where required. Available in the same colour range as the Balad Lamp, these stands allow you to mix and match your colour scheme to your outdoor setting.

The Balad Lamps come standard with a universal power cable and carries a 1-year guarantee.
