Stoddart was recently engaged by Sutherland Shire Council to design seating for a project at Don Lucas Reserve in Wanda Beach, Cronulla NSW. The reserve includes fitness equipment, playground and picnic facilities, as well as a full-sized basketball court.

The seating was designed to sit on top of large sandstone blocks which surround the basketball courts. Due to its proximity to the ocean, the team chose aluminium sheet to fabricate the seats which are powdercoated in bright colours from the Dulux Intensity range. Stoddart worked closely with the contractors, Auscape Landscaping to help deliver public seating which is functional, durable and fun.
