BRINGING YOUR DESIGN CONCEPTS TO LIFE

16 Sep 2015

With an experienced inhouse custom design team, Urban Fountains and Furniture are able to design and manufacture all your street furniture requirements to your specifications.

As Australian designers and manufacturers of street furniture, Urban Fountains and Furniture is able to create custom furniture designs for any project. Whether you want to modify an existing product or create something entirely new, their design team is there to advise you on style, materials, fittings and fixtures. They will work with you to develop a practical, economical product that doesn’t compromise on quality, functionality or aesthetic.

Working with UrbanFF is easy. Dealing with one company through the design, manufacture and final delivery of a product means their Team is there to support you through the whole process from beginning to end.

The Design Process

UrbanFF's design approach encourages clients to be involved as much or as little they want. Some customers know exactly what they want, so they rely on Urban's expertise in engineering to advise them on materials or variations of design that may result in increased functionality or cost savings.

Other clients provide a brief on the look or function they require and the budget they have to work with and Urban work through the design process to produce a few designs that fit that brief.  From there they collaborate with the client to gain final approval from the selected designs, or make alternations as needed until a satisfactory end result is achieved.

During the design process UrbanFF offers stage by stage consultation and feedback. The process can utilise some or all of the following stages:

  • Design Concept
  • DWG – paper
  • DWG – CAD
  • 3D DWG (if required)
  • Scale model (if required)
  • Fabrication of first item prototype
  • Alterations if necessary
  • Manufacture

The intricacy of the design process is dependent on you and what you want, as well as the scale and complexity of the job. Whatever your needs, UrbanFF is there with you throughout the entire process.
