This series of demonstrations and educational events is run by The Hills BARK BLOWER, in cooperation with the RMS and AILANSW, and is funded by the EPA Organics Market Development Grant.
These educational events are conducted in order to increase awareness around and implementation of compost blankets/Ecoblankets for erosion control, revegetation and rehabilitation of roadways.
The objectives encompass both newly constructed and existing roadways, together with reducing soil erosion on construction sites throughout NSW.
The second site-based learning event in this series will be held in Teralba near Lake Macquarie on 26 May 2016.
The morning involves a practical demonstration and technical information, and includes a catered lunch. It is specifically applicable to professionals in the design, construction and management of vegetated roadsides, but all relevant industry professionals are welcome.
Spaces are limited, so be sure to book your place.
For more information and to book a place, visit the AILA NSW events page or call the Hills BARK BLOWER office on 1300 BLOWIT.
