Queensland Arboricultural Association (QAA)
MISSION STATEMENT
The purpose of the Queensland Arboricultural Association Inc. (QAA) is to preserve, protect, maintain and enhance the environmental, aesthetic and recreational value of trees and to promote and enhance Arboricultural practices and management within the State of Queensland.
ASSOCIATION PROFILE
The Queensland Arboricultural Association (QAA), a not-for-profit organisation, was founded in 1992 to promote the tree care industry and arboricultural profession in Queensland and northern NSW. In the years since, the QAA has continued to grow in membership numbers, recognition and esteem. As QAA celebrates its 24th anniversary in 2016, it continues to advocate on behalf of its Members and raise awareness of arboriculture in the public domain. It proudly provides educational opportunities, training and events for its Members to showcase safety through Best Arboricultural Practice.

- QAA Register of Qualified Arboricultural Contractors and Consultants*

*Eligibility criteria include Diploma Arboriculture (AQF V) qualification for Consultants and AQF Certificate III in Arboriculture for Contractors, appropriate levels of experience for respective Registers and current insurances including professional, product and liability insurances.

All QAA Members listed in this edition of ODS (Outdoor Design Source) have met the qualification criteria and are listed on the QAA Register of Qualified Arboricultural Contractors and Consultants. This Register is regularly updated as each new application is approved.
