Capricorn Sandstone Quarries is an award-winning business based in Central Queensland. We supply sandstone in many formats Australia-wide and to export markets. Our sandstone reserve holds high quality dimension stone in unique and distinct colours; some tested at restoration grade. It is one of the largest quarries of its kind in Australia with millions of m3 of quality stone.

With an onsite factory and stonemasonry team in Queensland, Capricorn Sandstone are able to supply raw, semi-processed and fully finished sandstone in small or large volumes at competitive prices. Our quarry also produces retaining blocks, fill and crushed material.

Capricorn Sandstone offer cost effective delivery rates, direct from the quarry, Australia-wide.

PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

Our stone has been used on many historically and commercially significant projects in Brisbane, Sydney and Canberra. It can be supplied in eight unique colours, including Capricorn Buff and Heritage Rose.

Similar in colour and quality to Sydney sandstone, Capricorn Buff is popular with architects and restorers needing to match stone.

Capricorn can supply sandstone for landscape, retaining, residential and commercial projects.

Retaining Boulders

Our quarry supplies diamond sawn, square cut and random boulders, as well as sleepers for the construction of retaining walls and landscape features. These products are suitable for a range of applications, from high quality retaining and seating blocks, cost effective and neat boulder retaining walls, through to smaller product for use as edging, lot dividers etc. All of our products can be delivered direct to site for greater cost savings. Capricorn Sandstone materials have been extensively used throughout QLD and NSW.
