EUREKA STREET FURNITURE

16 Jan 2012

Eureka Street Furniture is one of the most renowned furniture stores in Queensland, and offers a wide range of innovative furnishings.

Finding the right furniture for your needs can be hard to do. You need to choose furnishings that fit your budget, your space allowance, your décor and your lifestyle. Eureka Street Furniture is one of the most renowned furniture stores in Queensland, and offers a wide range of innovative furnishings for your needs, from the bedroom to the back yard. What might you find with Eureka Street Furniture?

Innovative Products

One of the things that set Eureka Street Furniture apart from other furniture stores in Queensland is their long line of innovative furnishings. You won’t find any flatpack furnishings here – they offer only real timber pieces, all of which are made using techniques that date back a full century. In addition, the company has a significant dedication to going green and features furniture made with recycled timber.

About Eureka Street Furniture

Eureka Street Furniture had a rather modest start – it was a husband and wife operation founded back in 1986 on the corner of Eureka Street in Brisbane (at Eureka Street and Kelvin Grove Road). However, even with the small start, Eureka Street Furniture had an immediate impact and was responsible for several industry firsts. For instance, Eureka Street Furniture was the first company to create furniture from reclaimed timber.

Timber used in their furnishings comes from a variety of sources, including demolished industrial sites like the now-defunct Coca-Cola factory. Other well-known sites include the Roma Street Rail Yards and Brett’s Wharves. From the very beginning, the company has had an ecological, sustainable plan to help benefit the environment by removing waste and repurposing materials.

Another factor that sets Eureka Street Furniture apart from others in the industry is the fact that they have both retail centers and operate as a wholesale supplier to customers.
Today, Eureka Street Furniture has grown to offer 17 furniture stores in Queensland and New South Wales, and has gained recognition throughout the nation as one of the most innovative furniture providers.
Products Available

Eureka Street Furniture offers a full line of furnishings for homes, from rustic to traditional, modern to contemporary. Each piece is unique and many feature reclaimed timber combined with top quality surfacing materials and unique construction methods not found elsewhere in the industry. Eureka Street Furniture offers a wide range of indoor furniture for homes, but they also provide a significant number of options in outdoor furniture, as well, providing shoppers with a single source for all their furnishing needs.
