After three years of planning, and extensive community input, Market Street Park in Victoria opened in November. With all new developments, Baw Baw Shire Council tries to incorporate environmentally sustainable designs and the park is a great example of what can be achieved. “It’s evident to see that people are pretty happy with the result. Replas is, of course, the product of choice, not only for its durability and looks, but obviously because it’s recyclable,” said Kerry Irwin, Manager of Community Strengthening, at the park’s opening.

Along with seats, benches, bollards and signage, the park features a post and rail fence that combines the strength of a Replas bollard with the span capacity of a WoodShield rail. The fence provides a cost effective alternative to timber and provides a long-lasting and sustainable solution.
