WASTE NOT, WANT NOT!

09 Oct 2013

The “want” for recycled materials has never been greater. Benedict's customers continually seek out the most environmentally and economically friendly materials available in the market place.

Benedict Recycling has an industry leading Waste Recovery Rate of 90%, achieved at the Chipping Norton Recycling Facility.

This means that 90% of the waste that comes into Benedict, goes back out the gate as recycled material, which stops vast amounts of material reaching landfill.

The “want” for recycled materials has never been greater. Benedict's customers continually seek out the most environmentally and economically friendly materials available in the market place, to give themselves a competitive advantage.

One such material, is Benedict Envirosoil. Produced from screening out the fines from the construction and demolition waste streams, Envirosoil is a -8mm Recycled Soil that is environmentally-friendly, and is a sustainable option for the never ending needs of the Sydney Market.

Envirosoil is widely used as a turf underlay, mounding material on golf courses, underslab fill and general filling material.

Every load of Envirosoil is tested to comply with the “continuous process” recovered fines exemption April 2009, as per the Protection of the Environment Operations (Waste) Regulation 2005 – General Exemption Under Part 6, Clause 51 and 51A.

Envirosoil is sold into the market place at extremely competitive rates, making it an essential consideration against quarried, natural soil materials.

Mick Williams from Benedict says “Envirosoil offers our customers a sustainable, environmentally friendly soil option while also providing a valuable cost saving in this very competitive market”.
