The patented manifold system of these systems reduces the need for traditional wider grating. Composed of a PVC channel with outlets every 200mm and connected via downpipes to corresponding sockets in the pipe below, these drainage systems allow the channel to be installed level while still providing the pipe with sufficient fall to be self-cleaning.
Stormtech’s Special Assembly systems are finished with a stylish slimline stainless steel grate and are available in a 38mm or 65mm widths. The grates are available in a wedge-wire style, or a punched hole or slotted style for the more budget conscious. Their flexibility means they can also be used as accessory drainage within or around pool coping, to help protect garden and grass areas from contamination by pool water, or to reduce the impact of stormwater on the pool water system.
The unique features of these Special Assembly drainage systems has assisted Stormtech in carving out a solid niche for itself at the high end of the architectural design market, for both residential and commercial projects.
