Available in a comprehensive range of standard stone colours and designed to efficiently drain surface water, Rockpave Flowstone is a highly permeable paving system from MPS Paving. With a range of accessories such as aluminium tree collars and stainless-steel tree stake collars and grates also available, FlowStone™ uses a specially formulated mixture of aggregates that are bound using a 2-part polymer based resin. This gives the surface a strong and flexible finish that is water permeable and very appealing to the eye.

Like MPS Paving’s SuperStone, StoneCarpet and CrystalPave™, FlowStone™ is a resin bound surface. However, unlike the other finishes, FlowStone™ uses a specifically sized aggregate that results in a fantastically permeable product. This allows water to make its way through the FlowStone™ layer and into the substrate beneath, making it an ideal solution for tree pits and the likes. To put it together, the specially formulated two component polyurethane resin is prepared and combined with the aggregate/glass then applied to the substrate. The combined mix is then spread to ensure even coverage.

Rockpave Flowstone is suitable for permeable Tree Pits, permeable footpaths, permeable driveways, permeable roof gardens and wall panels. CrystalPave, Flowstone, Superstone and Stone carpet uses MPS Paving’s unique Rockpave™ binder technology for incomparable UV stability, flexibility, durability, and strength. Due to the porous structure of Rockpave™, on interior floors, dirt, dust, and hair can pass through the surface where it will be held until you vacuum the floors. This allows the surface to be easily kept in a pristine condition and will provide a dust-free environment.

This principle also applies to areas that may get wet for both interior and exterior flooring. Liquid spilled on ceramic, vinyl, or wooden floors can take hours to dry, unless they are mopped up. Rockpave™, on the other hand, disperses water through the pores of the surface spreading the water in a manner that increases the speed of natural evaporation. All Rockpave™ products have been field tested as suitable for the harsh Australian climate and are designed to stay looking good for years to come.
