NEW REJUVENATION GROUT
05 Nov 2014
Davco’s new Rejuvenation Grout is a world-first, game-changer and is giving life back to bathrooms, kitchen splashbacks, floor tiles and pools.
It’s not often that a product like grout gets DIYers excited but Parex Davco’s new Rejuvenation Grout, an Australian-invented product, has the home improvement world in a buzz.
For too long, an okay-tiled area could be ruined by discoloured or damaged grout, resulting in a tired appearance. To bring the area back to life would often take a high level of physical effort to remove the old grout then re-grout or a high level of precision to paint the grout without discolouring the tiles. This made repairing grout too difficult for many DIYers.
Rejuvenation Grout, being sold through Bunnings nationally and selected tile stores, puts the process of restoring grout back in the hands of DIYers.
Give new life to your bathroom, kitchen splashback, floor tiles and even swimming pools in just a few hours for just a few dollars.
Rejuvenation Grout is easy to use straight from the pail and is applied in a similar manner to traditional grout. It has a tough and wear resistant finish and can be used in almost any tiled area, with the exception of porous tiles, including:
- Internal and external
- Wall and floor
- Showers and other wet areas
- Pools and spas
Its special biocide formula resists the formation of mould and bacteria.
Available in six colours to complement the latest trends in tiles, Rejuvenation Grout can renew tired, grungy old grout in a very simple four-step application:
Step 1:Thoroughly clean the existing tile and grout surface with either mild soap and water or a sugar soap mixture.
Step 2:Apply the Rejuvenation Grout to the grout joint and using a float or squeegee, spread diagonally across the joint. Ensure you are filling the joint evenly. Only cover 1m2 at a time.
Step 3:After a few minutes, clean the excess grout off and shape the gout joints by laying a damp sponge on the tile surface and lightly wiping in a circular motion.
Step 4:Give the tiles a final clean by wiping the tile surface in a circular, buffing motion, avoiding the grout joints.
