LANDSCAPE QUEENSLAND ANNOUNCES 2025 WINNERS

Queensland’s landscaping industry honours excellence at the 2025 Landscape Queensland Construction Excellence Awards. Finalists and winners from across Queensland were recognised for their skill, professionalism and commitment to creating high quality residential, commercial, environmental and public landscapes.
The stars of landscaping gathered in Brisbane for the 2025 Landscape Queensland Construction Excellence Awards Gala, celebrating the people and projects shaping outdoor spaces across the state. With well over six hundred guests in attendance, this record-breaking event marked the largest Awards program in the history of Landscape Queensland and reflected the extraordinary momentum within the industry.
Across all categories, judges observed impressive construction quality, refined detailing and thoughtful responses to site, environmental and technical challenges. Many projects demonstrated strong horticultural stewardship and a growing focus on water wise design and material reuse that reflects the industry’s continued maturity and responsibility.
Landscape Queensland CEO Derryn De Ceuster said the program’s growth is a testament to the strength of the sector. “This year marked a significant milestone as the program recorded its largest attendance and one of its most competitive fields to date. It reflects the incredible momentum within Queensland’s landscaping sector and the strength of the community that supports it. The Awards program highlights the skill, creativity and professionalism that define our industry.”
The night’s top honours went to JSW Landscapes and Design, who claimed the Residential Construction of the Year Award for their outstanding Currumbin project, Billy’s Backyard. CBD Landscape Construction received the Commercial Construction of the Year Award for the transformational Queen’s Wharf Public Realm in Brisbane City.
The Training Awards shone a spotlight on the next generation of landscape professionals. Apprentices from across Queensland demonstrated impressive skill, passion and leadership potential. Their achievements highlighted the promise within the emerging workforce and reinforced the importance of continued investment in training and workforce development for the future of landscaping in Queensland.
