MARKING A PLACE FOR PLAY

The AtPlay team have been busy completing a range of exciting projects in 2018, utilising their innovative and effective asphalt marking system, which turns any asphalt court into a lively playground with vivid markings that encourage fun on the playground.
Playground markings provide an easy-to-install solution that will create a bright and exciting play area with minimal cost. The designs can be tailored to suit any landscaper’s needs and can create an almost unlimited range of games, activities and learning opportunities for kids of all ages. In addition, playground markings are a safer playspace option, as they eliminate the risk of equipment that children could run into or fall off of.
Recently, Blacktown North’s play court was revitalised by AtPlay, with exciting games painted onto the asphalt surface. From hopscotch and zig-zag, to an educational compass and number chart, the space is now a bright and colourful place for the kids to engage in cooperative play and learning. AtPlay’s high quality preformed thermoplastic markings provide many advantages. The markings are completely non-toxic as the thermoplastic paint emits no harmful substances, both during and after application. The pigments are organic with no lead or heavy chemicals and the UV resistance capability ensures the colour lasts for an extensive amount of time, 8-10 times longer than traditional paint, and is guaranteed for up to five years. The markings are also manufactured to standards exceeding ISO 9002.

The team also recently completed a range of playground markings for O’Connell Street Public School. The extensive courtyard was reinvigorated with decorative borders, painted games, and designs that will keep the kids entertained throughout their lunch and recess times.
