LANDSCAPE QLD EXCELLENCE AWARDS

This year's winners of the Landscape QLD Excellence Awards confirmed that landscaping really does make all the difference to create sustainable urban environments. Read the list of winners here.

Winners were announced at the Gala Awards Dinner on November 10, held at the Brisbane Hilton, which was attended by the Minister for Housing & Public Works, Minister for Digital Technology and Sport, the Honourable Mick de Brenni. The evening was hosted by MC Terry Hansen and over 500 guests from across the landscape design and construction industry were entertained by well-known impersonator Ben Price. In addition to many other landscaping companies, the awards were sponsored by Outdoor Design Source.
The QLD Landscape Construction of the Year was awarded for both the Residential and Commercial segments of the industry. Competing against entries from throughout QLD, Outdoor Secrets won the QLD Residential Landscape Construction of the Year for their Paddington project and Gold Coast-based Naturelink Landscapes & Design were successful in winning the QLD Commercial Landscape Construction of the year for Burleigh Boardwalk at Burleigh Heads.
Landscape Queensland CEO, Mark Sorby, said this year’s awards yet again showcased the high skill levels and professionalism of the landscape industry, especially as industry trends are changing to meet consumer demands. He went on to say that this sees landscapers undertaking an exciting and diverse range of projects, which were reflected in this year’s awards entries.
