KOMPAN has released its 2019 Corocord catalogue of industry-leading play equipment, which includes Spacenets, play towers and rope structures that seek to create a new level of creative and fun playspaces.

Industry-Leading Play, Year After Year

As the inventors of the hugely iconic Spacenets and as pioneers of the rope play industry, Corocord has been the global leader in unique rope structures with high play value for over 45 years. These days, Corocord continues to push the boundaries with their innovative sky play structures and play towers. KOMPAN’s Scandinavian design influence makes Corocord a favourite for landscape architects searching for a particular architectural aesthetic in their playspaces.

Industry-Leading Play, Year After Year

2018 was an impressive year for the Corocord product range, with the highlight being the world-first Super Sphere (renamed ‘Wyatt’s Wonder Web’) installed in Kershaw Gardens in Rockhampton, Queensland. Other special projects include South Melbourne Primary School, Moncrieff Community Recreation Park in Canberra, Treetop Park in Craigieburn Farm, Adelaide, and Grand Linear Park at Harmony Palmview on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.

Further afield, Corocord produced a five-storey ‘Chandelier’ playground for Terminal 4 in Singapore’s Changi Airport.

Industry-Leading Play, Year After Year

There are a number of landmark Corocord projects currently underway across the country in the leadup to summer, with an adventure playground currently being installed at Flagstone in Jimboomba, south of Brisbane, that is generating a great deal of hype as one of Australia’s largest playspaces; the completion of Tasmania’s biggest playground at Riverbend Park in Launceston; and a hugely innovative project for the Singleton Council, civic centre in NSW.
