HEDGE TACKLES NEW RESIDENTIAL PROJECTS

Ivy & Eve is a twin tower residential development in South Brisbane. The project features an elegant residents retreat with an outdoor cinema, BBQ area, gymnasium and yoga room, as well as a swimming pool and heated spa. The amenities at Ivy & Eve are bordered by the lush softscaping, currently being attended to by the team at Hedge Landscape Management and includes a series of podium planters, single-cable trellising, and street trees and planting.

Similarly, the team is looking after the tranquil gardens and exquisite streetscaping at Westside Apartments, a stylish and contemporary new apartment complex in Indooroopilly. The rooftop landscape space is beautiful, and is enhanced by the fantastic poolside vista.

Hedge Landscape Management is currently implementing a series of post-construction maintenance activities at Ivy & Eve and Westside Apartments. These include the application of a fertiliser plan and an eco-friendly herbicide, insecticide and fungicide plan to ensure the newly planted species are growing strong and healthy, without seasonal invasive fungus damage. Also included is the training of the vines on the arbour and eco-friendly weed control, growth regulator and a pruning plan. The team have also implemented a tree management plan for streetscaping and a turf management plan to ensure Ivy & Eve and Westside Apartments are presenting the best impression for visitors and current and future residents.

As with the nature of new builds, Hedge Landscape Management is working closely with the builder and other trades to minimise disruption to visitors and residents in the two developments. The team is also mindful of the privacy and routines of the residents at Ivy & Eve and Westside Apartments, and ensuring their duties are completed during non-peak hours.
