CUSTOM SEATING AT HONEYSUCKLE PARK

Street + Garden was engaged by Terras Landscape Architects to design custom-backed platform benches with integrated lighting, picnic settings and hob-mounted benches to greatly increase public amenities along the Newcastle Waterfront in the Honeysuckle Park foreshore redevelopment.
Featuring neutral colours and a custom White Honeysuckle Coastal Banksia laser cut pattern throughout the platforms and picnic settings to compliment the setting while also requiring durable finishes to survive the harsh elements along the waterfront was an interesting challenge to overcome for the team at Street+Garden. 
SIT Design Awards 2023
Street+Garden has also recently received an honorable mention at the SIT Design Awards for the collaborative work done on the Miles Street Scape Project. 
Opportunities to work on incredible projects like these wouldn't have been possible without the extremely talented design partners Vee Design and client Western Downs Regional Council who see the tremendous value in creating spaces with meaning and empowering communities through design.
A huge congratulations must go out to David Shaw the founding director and Charles Wentworth the lead designer who collaborated with Vee Design on this project and continues to push the envelope on what's possible on any given project.
