CURIOUS COUSIN IT!

26 Jul 2017

Cousin It™ is a new ground cover from Ramm Botanicals that that is marvellously versatile with surprising strength. Highly adaptable, it works well in suppressing weeds and controlling soil erosion - a great addition to any landscape project.

Casuarina Cousin It™ is potentially the most versatile and useful ground cover that you will ever use. Creating a small mound with long, slim branches that extend outward, it’s an extremely versatile plant that will surprise you with its strength and capabilities. Seen all over Australia from Southern Queensland, Tasmania and in Western Australia, Cousin It™ will complement many gardens and create a very trendy style with a real design flare.

The branches of Cousin It™ are covered in leafless stems that create a thick mat and natural mulch. Its spreading habit will cover large areas quickly, hiding just about anything from unappealing drainage pipes, stumps and other ground obstacles. Positioned correctly, Cousin It™ will also cascade and spill over embankments, retaining walls and rockeries, creating a spectacular effect.

Not only does Cousin It™ bring excitement and interest to the garden, but it also has many useful attributes and is very adaptable. The ground hugging, dense foliage works wonderfully as weed suppression and helps to minimise soil erosion. Plus it’s an easy care, low maintenance plant that will tolerate most soil conditions and once established will withstand extended periods of dryness.

Use Cousin It™ in your next project and see the outstanding results for yourself! Contact Ramm Botanicals for more information on the below channels.
