INTRODUCING MANSFIELD'S PROPAGATION NURSERY

Founded in 1951, Mansfield's Propagation Nursery is a third generation nursery, run by a family of horticulturalists.
In addition to being one of Australia’s largest young plant producers, they have one of Australia’s largest tissue culture labs, where they are exploring the hemp/cannabis and many other markets. They grow around 6 million plants annually, consisting of over 100 different varieties of native and exotic trees, shrubs, grasses, succulents, food crops and rootstocks.
The Skye site is located only 45 kms from Melbourne’s CBD. Mansfield's is considered one of Australia’s leading propagation nurseries, winning consecutive awards from the Nursery and Garden Industry of Australia (NGIA); 2009 to 2012 Best Propagation Nursery, Best Large Production Nursery, Best Environmental Business and Best Training Organisation.
Mansfield’s works closely with plant breeders, collectors and plant marketing companies locally and internationally to bring new and exciting varieties to the Australian market as well as supplying traditional favourites.
Mansfield’s onsite wetlands can recycle 20 mega litres of water. We’re active users of IPM and are striving to reduce our chemical usage and spraying time for a greener future.
