Solterior FR, is a solution-dyed polyester, manufactured by Izumi in Japan. With sustainability and product lifecycle in mind, this fabric is produced using recycled PET drink bottles, which gives a second life to a product that is not biodegradable and would otherwise end up in landfill.

By creating yarn from recycled bottles, Solterior FR saves energy resources and protects the environment. Solterior FR is ideal for commercial awnings and market umbrellas, it offers the added benefits of being RoHS-compliant, fire-retardant, waterproof, and UV-stabilized. Available in 10 popular colourways, this range is backed by a 5-year warranty.

The Outlook mesh collection, excluding Mode Zero, is manufactured by Phifer Inc. using Dow Ecolibrium™, a technology that utilises bio-based plasticisers in production. Outlook mesh reduces greenhouse gas emissions by up to 40 percent, with 98 percent of the plasticisers used in production being derived from non-fossil fuel feedstock. Fact: Around one litre of petroleum is saved each time Outlook mesh is used for a blind of approximately ten square metres.
