Business Park Promotes Wellbeing

The development of Caribbean Business Park in Scoresby, Victoria, includes a sustainable, landscaped outdoor space that aims to promote and enhance wellbeing for employees.

Business Park Promotes Wellbeing

The outdoor space is part of the second phase of the Park development. The space includes pathways to a collection of four-storey office buildings, a café, landscaped plaza and outdoor meeting spaces that are situated in the new commercial office precinct, Caribbean Gardens.

Various landscaping incorporates the external spaces to recent new developments, including a childcare service and a gym.

Business Park Promotes Wellbeing

The brief given to landscape architecture firm Oculus Landscape Architecture focused on creating a space that promotes productivity, and physical and mental health. In response, the firm created a landscape that was conceived as a series of interconnecting outdoor spaces that offer a variety of environments to serve each individual, while also providing links throughout the Park.

Each space has a unique characteristic that is based on its location and purposed use. For example, hard and soft landscaping has been integrated in the spaces to differentiate between informal seating areas, boulevards, areas for activity and spaces for reflection and peace.
