ATTACHABLE NEW SHADERUNNER® TRAX ‘MONO’

The Trax 'Mono' retractable shading is constructed using only the most robust components including custom designed aluminium tracks and supports, ss roller bearing wheels (20mm to 90mm,) and marine grade fittings. This attachable ‘Mono’ structure is perfectly suited to a range of applications around the home, attaching to existing structures and just supported by 40x40mm Aluminium tracks only. These can be mounted to inside faces of existing steel, timber, or other support structures, with the addition of an Aluminium Angle or the tracks can mount directly under support structure.

With a wide range of fabrics and colour options available, the Shaderunner® Trax ‘Mono’ complements all architectural styles, from contemporary suburban homes to traditional country residences. The lightweight but robust Aluminium supports and running tracks allows easy installation. The Aluminium components can be powdercoated to a multitude of colours to fit the existing structure. Robust aluminium extruded support profiles allow large spans of up to 4m wide between rafters, or up to 7m wide* with an under mounted system. Wider widths achieved with multiple bays.

Set amongst tranquil bushland and with the addition of the three fully retractable motorised 'Mono' shades, the property has been extended and modernised to provide functional and relaxed seaside living both indoors and outdoors.

To provide welcome respite from the harsh sun, the stylish Shaderunner® Trax ‘Mono’ Retractable Sail System with its smooth motorised operation was chosen, providing practical and remotely controllable shade on demand. Stainless Steel ball bearing runner wheels present smooth operation. Somfy RTS motorised operation is the ultimate convenience and are effortlessly extended at the touch of a button with the remote control.

The Shaderunner® Retractable Sail System can be extended as and when required to providing UV protection. In the cooler months, the Shaderunner® can be retracted, enabling thermal heating of the terrace from the winter sun.

The attachable structure was designed to be integrated into this wide span veranda, with the custom designed aluminium tracks being fixed to the inside faces of the existing steel rafters. Running support tracks are installed between these rafters at either side, with the central operation cord connecting to the Somfy motor drive mechanism. A well-designed space should consider shading, and in particular retractable shading.

The Shaderunner® TRAX ‘Mono’ is manufactured from a range of rigorously tested fabrics, from 95 percent Polyester Mesh to Waterproof PVC. Each fabric is mould resistant and offers protection from glare and the sun’s harmful rays, with a wide range of colours available.
