Australian Concrete Mats (ACM) manufactures flexible concrete mats for erosion protection. Engineered in an easy-to-install roll as an efficient alternative to rock riprap, ACM mats are designed to control various types of erosion caused by water, wind or vehicular traffic, from minor to severe erosion on everything from small to largescale projects. The quick-unroll mat is an innovative simple-to-use erosion protection solution with a flexible concrete structure that makes erosion rehabilitation and stabilising slopes, water channels, inlet/outlet protection, spillways and shorelines easy.

PRODUCT
ACM erosion protection mats are comprised of concrete shapes embedded into a high strength polypropylene geogrid. The space around each concrete shape gives the mat its flexibility, enabling it to contour to the landscape and allow vegetation to grow through, offering permeable erosion protection. Mats are supplied with underlay geofabrics to either enhance or inhibit the growth of vegetation from beneath the mat.

Each mat is 2400mm wide and made to order in any length up to 15m long. Packaged into rolls, mats are supplied and delivered via standard road transport. The roll design makes handling and installation fast and efficient. Rolls can be lifted, placed and unrolled onsite using standard site machinery. Installation is completed in a matter of minutes without the need for special tools or equipment. Once in place they start working right away!

Quick to install, environmentally friendly and sustainable, ACM erosion protection mats are ideal for farm dams, creeks, low-water access areas, water channels and gullies, or anywhere land erosion is likely to become an issue.
