Temporary Boat Ramp for Dingo Beach

The boat ramp for Dingo Beach was being reconstructed and a temporary hard stand surface was required for the recreational boat ramp users, while the permanent structure was undergoing maintenance and reconstruction works. Australian Concrete Mats were tasked with putting in a temporary boat ramp for access alongside the construction of the permanent ramp.

An excavator was used to dig and shape the temporary access point to beach parallel to the existing ramp. Concrete erosion mats were then lifted and put into position on the beach. The mats and its edges were covered in sand in order to hold it in position against the tides and traffic, creating a safe and stable surface.
