The Queen Elizabeth II Courts of Law, Brisbane, is a momentous new building which connects with a major public square and Brisbane Magistrates Court. It will be one of the largest court buildings in Australia.

A key element of the design was to ensure all hardstand areas were made pedestrian friendly and therefore adequate drainage was required.

ACO’s KlassikDrain & SlabDrain were specified with Heelsafe® Anti-Slip grates. These visually continuous runs joined the wide footpaths of George St to the public square area. The grates ensured women’s heels would not be trapped and provided a level of slip resistance.
