VICINITY GREENWALL SYSTEMS

14 Jun 2016

Martin Kellock Pots and Planters is proud to announce the arrival of a new and innovative vertical garden system that makes lush green walls easy to achieve in any space.

Martin Kellock Pots and Planters is proud to announce the arrival of Vicinity Greenwall vertical garden system. This innovative new design makes vertical gardens easy to install and maintain in any space.

Turn a small courtyard or balcony space into a lush green jungle, or create a verdant living art sculpture that will transform any large wall. The Vicinity Greenwall system is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications and is simple enough for the professional or DIY enthusiast.

Vertical gardens are strikingly beautiful, unique and original works of living art designed to complement their surroundings. They improve the well-being and mood of people through a spiritual connection to nature that is often missing in the urban concrete jungle.

The Vicinity Greenwall system is modular, scalable and flexible, with hardware designed to be packed flat to make shipping easy. Plants are planted off-site in a clean environment, and the pots are then sent to the site for installation.

The pots simply clip on and off with a very simple connector, providing complete design flexibility in an instant. The unique hexagonal shape of the pots allows for perfect nesting, ensuring minimal gaps between the plants.

Automated irrigation improves sustainability and reduces maintenance. The system is controlled by a simple pump and a drip-irrigation system. The water is collected in the tanks and redistributed throughout the garden. A remote monitoring system reduces maintenance cost and risk.

Vicinity Greenwall systems are soil-based, which substantially reduces maintenance compared to the common hydroponic vertical garden. Soil can store water for a longer period of time, ensuring the longevity of the plants should there be any system failures. The pot and tank components of the system are made from recycled material.

Vicinity Greenwall works with a network of appointed professional implementers specially trained with the system. These installers are able to offer turnkey installation services.

Should you wish to use your own landscaper the system will be supplied with a detailed instruction manual to facilitate installation.
