Macloam is produced at Benedict’s Menangle Quarry Site and created by blending natural alluvial topsoil with a very fine recycled soil, to create a sustainable and environmentally friendly blend that is cost effective and looks great.
The physical and chemical properties of the natural and recycled soil components complement each other perfectly, making Macarthur Loam a horticulturally sound, commercially attractive option for our Sydney landscape and turf markets.
Some of the benefits of Macloam include:
- Disperses easily
- Good soil structure
- Increased product availability
- Reduced price
- most importantly the fact that we are slowing down the depletion of our Natural Sand/Soil reserves by blending
Alongside Macloam, Benedict has also developed a sustainable washed topdressing material called Benedict Turfloam.
