The facility features two purpose-engineered SYNLawn golf turf products, Precision Putt TRI and Classic Pitch TRI, selected for their realistic playing characteristics, durability and low-maintenance performance.

SMARTER DESIGN, SMALLER FOOTPRINT

Designed to maximise functionality within a limited space, the fully enclosed Smart-Range features targets positioned at 15m, 30m and 45m. Integrated Toptracer ball-tracking technology allows golfers to analyse their shots and experience full ball-flight data, despite the shorter hitting distances.

One of the project's most innovative features is its integrated drainage and ball collection system.

Built on an average 12% slope, the carefully contoured landscape uses gravity to direct golf balls towards a central collection point, while simultaneously capturing stormwater for reuse within the golf course's broader irrigation system.

This dual-purpose design streamlines ball retrieval, reduces maintenance requirements and supports more efficient water management, demonstrating how thoughtful landscape design can deliver both operational and environmental benefits.

HIGH PERFORMANCE SYNLawn GOLF SURFACES

The Smart-Range features two premium SYNLawn synthetic turf products, manufactured by APT in the USA and installed by specialist contractor GameOn Turf.

SYNLawn Precision Putt TRI is engineered to deliver a consistent, true ball roll and reliable putting speed. Tour-pro tested and TGL-approved, its dense, 100% nylon construction provides a professional-quality playing surface with a Stimpmeter rating of 12.5. Its natural, multi-toned appearance combines the aesthetics of real grass with the consistency and durability of synthetic turf.

SYNLawn Classic Pitch TRI was selected for the target areas, where realistic ball bounce, check and response are essential. Featuring durable 22mm nylon fibres, the surface is designed to replicate natural turf playing characteristics while withstanding the demands of high-traffic commercial environments. Its versatility also makes it suitable for putting greens, chipping areas and fairways.
