ROCKPAVE SUPERSTONE A SUPER SOLUTION

Located at 192 Burwood Road, Hawthorn, this project was completed for Portsand Pty Ltd by MPS Paving. The project consisted of laying Rockpave Superstone on the paths, walkways and stairs around Buildings A, B and C.  The existing terracotta tiles were cracked, dirty, tired and old.  They were also slippery when wet, making them very dangerous for pedestrians.

Before

The building exterior was recently refurbished and the customer wanted something laid that was modern and tied in with the new colour scheme of the building. Superstone was suggested as it was very cost effective and it could be laid without disrupting tenant access. The Superstone finish also provides a very sleek and clean look.

To tie in with the colours of the building, a blend of 60 percent Belvidere 3-6mm, 40 percent Full Black 4-6mm and 5 percent Diamond 2-4mm was created. MPS Paving worked together with the tenants to ensure alternative access routes were offered, as once the Rockpave Superstone was laid foot traffic would be prohibited for at least 12 hours.

MPS allowed them to use alternative entrances to the building to cause as little interruption as possible.
