Queensland AILA Winners Announced!

The Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA) has announced the winners of the 2024 Queensland State Awards. The jury honoured 24 winners from a total of 49 entries.

Queensland AILA Winners Announced!

Jury Chair Liam Cridland says landscape architects play a valuable role in responding to the challenges facing us all.

“Communities, ecologies, environments, the urban realm and places of cultural significance are under immense pressure for societal and global change across the planet,” Liam says. “Landscape architects can play a major role as shapers, changers and healers of place and Country. Landscape architecture can heal, regenerate, reinvigorate, or re-life our urban and regional landscapes, communities and cultural spaces across a variety of scales.”

All winners at the State Awards level proceed to the National Landscape Architecture Awards held later this year.
