Entries are now open for the 2013 NSW & ACT Nursery & Garden Industry Awards and include four new marketing categories.
Entries are now open for the 2013 NSW & ACT Nursery & Garden Industry Awards. Entering the NSW/ACT State Awards has never been easier. Simply download an entry form from the NGINA website – www.ngina.com.au – complete it and return it by fax or email - it’s that simple!
Award categories include:
• Best Production Nursery (Small, Medium and Large)
• Best Propagation Nursery
• Best Government Nursery
• Best Garden Centre (Small, Medium and Large)
• Marketing Campaign Award
• Environment Award
• Training Award
• Allied Supplier Award
In 2013, there will also be four new marketing categories:
• Best Plant Labels
• Point of Sale Signage
• Newsletters
• Websites
Although it would be great to win, both winners and entrants agree, the best value from awards is the entry process, checking off the criteria and seeing how you stack up. It's like a good hard look at yourself in the mirror! The bonus is receiving independent, objective feedback from the judges.
Award winners will be recognised at the Awards Dinner in November and featured in industry publications. What better way to promote yourself and enhance your company profile?
Finalists receive
•Finalist Certificate
•Onsite visit by state judge (only Garden Centres & Production Nurseries above benchmark)
•Detailed judges feedback on your entry submission and onsite visit
•Publication in Nursery & Garden News
Winners receive
•A prestigious trophy
•A custom framed State Winner certificate
•Use of NGINA State Winners award logo on your collateral for three years
•Greater brand recognition with the industry and key stakeholders
•Publicity in state and national industry publications
•Recognition as a State Winner in the 2013 Awards DVD
A total of 5 CNP (Certified Nursery Professional) points will be allocated to the person responsible for submitting awards entries. This is the person listed as the contact on the entry. Only one person per award is eligible.
Please note: the Young Leader Award will again be run by the NGIA through its own program for 2013. Details will be sent out separately.
