LNA AWARDS WOMEN IN LANDSCAPING

12 Aug 2015

The LNA recognises and values the contributions of its female members, who almost certainly are playing an important role in breaking down barriers in the landscaping industry.

Building and construction has traditionally been a predominantly male domain. While women make up 44 per cent of the overall workforce, they comprise only 13 per cent of the employees in the building and construction sector.

The LNA recognises and values the contributions of its female members, who, almost certainly, and often without realising it, are playing an important role in breaking down barriers. They are paving the way for other women to see the landscape industry as a possible area of employment.

This category is open to LNA members or their employee and is not limited to a hands on trade. Entrants may include but not limited to office managers, administrative staff or educators.  You may also enter your company as an employer of women.

Your submission should demonstrate a record of the individuals or Company's contribution to the landscaping industry.  We also require a "head shot" of your entrant(s).

Please find a link to the 2015 Landscape Excellence Awards entry form and key highlights Click Here

If you require any assistance or extra time to submit your award entries, please do not hesitate to contact the LNA team on 02 9630 4844.
