Here’s a sneak preview into the impressive exhibitor portfolio.
ACO Drain Lightpoint - Trench Drain illumination
For over 30 years, ACO has serviced the industry with its signature drainage systems comprising interlocking precast channels made from polymer concrete, a durable resin composite with excellent strength and weathering resistance. ACO Drain Lightpoint is ACO’s newest system solution allowing designers the means to punctuate their urban landscape designs with a striking Australian-made innovation.
Define boundaries, complement building facades and general pavement designs with the dual function system, which allows designers to specify the world famous, Australian-manufactured ACO DRAIN system for drainage as well as for feature lighting.
Features & Benefits
• anti slip grates
• plug & play, tool-free installation
• easily removable for maintenance operations
• choice of interchangeable LED lights
• meets relevant electrical, weatherproof and slip resistance codes
• adaptable to a wide choice of drain channel dimensions
XYZ Family Permeable Pavers and Curbs
The XYZ Family permeable paver was installed in the squares around the Beijing Olympic Stadium 'Bird Nest' and Aquatic Centre 'Water Cube' and is proudly designed in Australia.
The XYZ Family permeable paver is made of sand rather than natural stones so it also holds water, which reduces the amount of heat the paver holds – a particularly important consideration in urban environments.
Permeable curbs are also available through XYZ Family and can be used with permeable pavers to construct closed drainage systems. The environmental benefits of a closed drainage system mean no rubbish goes into our waterways and the water is partly purified, making waste water disposal more time and cost efficient especially because drains are less likely to become blocked from debris.
Forma-Tech Wall System
Forma-Tech is a fast, cost-effective solution to brick or block work walls particularly in structural and load bearing applications The Forma-Tech Wall system has numerous outdoor applications including use in construction of solid concrete retaining walls, curved garden walls, fences, security walls, piers and pillars, planter boxes, pools, water tanks, pergolas and a host of other architectural and structural features.
Formed on site, this system can integrate the construction of the overall home build process with the outdoor design features or can be created separately allowing significant architectural freedom and design opportunities such as decorative coatings, textures and claddings.
The lightweight sacrificial formwork system is particularly suited to steep sloping difficult sites or small sites where storage is an issue, as it requires no special lifting equipment and can easily be carried to the installation site.
Protect A Window
Protect A Window is the original window protection and is proudly an Australian idea, selling Australian products worldwide.
The product is a high build translucent material that is applied in a white liquid form that dries within 30 to 60 minutes (depending on heat/warmth & air movement). It forms a clear protective barrier against damaging materials such as splashed mortar, cement render and grinding sparks.
New boutique glass is even easier to scratch, which makes Protect A Window a great idea, especially because the product is easy to apply and easy to remove. Protect A Window leaves no residue on glass (or any surface), meaning the glass is in “as new” condition and doesn’t require any cleaning.
Protect A Window also increases onsite safety as the product allows light in while providing a safety barrier that people can “see”, reducing the possibility of walking into and breaking glass panes.
Protect A Window products can also protect spas & bath tubs, kitchen & vanity benchtops, tiles, stainless steel & other non porous surfaces – providing the ultimate in temporary protection during construction.
Broadcast Builder – earn CPD points online
Broadcast Builder is an interactive audio program for home building industry trades and professionals. It is comparable in style to a radio program, but it comes complete with an online quiz for building professionals. The quiz gives you the chance to win great prizes and builders and architects can use it to earn CPD points.
The interviews on the program help you keep up to date with news, products, changes to regulations and solutions to common building dilemmas.
According to Broadcast Builder General Manager Kathleen Crone, the interactive audio program is changing the way builders and specifiers are achieving their professional development requirements because it is free and time efficient to use.
The latest edition of Broadcast Builder explores common problems and solutions for timber decks, how the Securities of Payments Act can save you time and money dealing with payment disputes between sub contractors, suppliers and principal contractors and how you can reduce your liability in the case that you strike and damage an underground pipe or cable.
