The Grand Designs Live home show returns to Australia in 2012; Melbourne September 21 – 23; and Sydney October 5 – 7.
Off the back of a successful launch last year, the Grand Designs Live home show will be returning to Sydney for its second year in October, and will launch for the first time in Melbourne in September.
Headlining the Melbourne show is UK Grand Designs host Kevin McCloud and Peter Maddison, host of Grand Designs Australia. Sydney visitors will get a chance to see landscape legend Jamie Durie and also Peter Maddison who will be representing both shows.
Grand Designs Live is the official home show of the hit Australian and UK TV series Grand Designs and Grand Designs Australia, produced by FremantleMedia. Grand Designs Live offers four great home shows in one, with a unique layout that has been developed to complement the visitor experience. These zones include Grand Interiors, Grand Building, Grand Outdoors and Grand Kitchen & Bathrooms, and will allow visitors to explore over 200 quality yet affordable exhibitors within the four innovative quarters.
Positioned as Australia’s ultimate home show, Grand Designs Live is where home enthusiasts will find all the inspiration and ideas they need for their home whether they are building, renovating or redecorating. Visitors can get up close and personal with celebrity TV experts who will be presenting free seminars throughout the show on a variety of topics to help provide inspiration and information for visitors to help create their own ‘grand design’. Speakers include Kevin McCloud, who will be returning to Australia to officially open the Melbourne show along with his Australian counterpart Peter Maddison, plus numerous other industry experts.
