Caged Rock produces a range of gabion baskets and products for landscaping, architectural, environmental and civil uses. For convenience, they can supply their gabions in flat pack or ‘ready to fill’ assembled form. Or, if you prefer, Caged Rock can supply and install gabions to your specifications, whether it’s a large complex project or a small and simple job.
Caged Rock has access to a wide range of gabion rocks of various colours and textures. This is made possible by an ongoing working relationship with many quarries in South-East Queensland and Northern New South Wales, which means they can organise the supply of local gabion rock to most locations in these regions.
A concerted effort is made to ensure Australian made, quality materials are used in the manufacturing process as much as possible, resulting in a quality product that looks good and is long lasting.
The gabion baskets are made from galvanised weld-mesh in two different aperture sizes: 75mm x 75mm (imported steel) and 50mm x 50mm (Australian made). This allows landscapers, builders and homeowners the flexibility to choose the aesthetic that best suits their project. Choosing the larger aperture means you will see more of the stone inside while the smaller aperture affords a slightly more ‘industrial’ look.
Caged Rock’s staff is widely experienced in gabion making; filling them and producing one-of-a-kind, fully customised designs. To help you make the most appropriate gabion selection, Caged Rock can provide a ‘rendered’ photograph of your proposed installation so you can decide what mesh size, rock texture and colour is most suitable to your needs.
