As part of the site upgrade Terra Firma Industries developed lightweight, lockable, heavy-duty trench covers that can be safely opened and closed by one person in minutes. The company replaced conductive metal mesh access flooring with non-conductive TerraGrate, structural FRP, to eliminate risk. Terra Firma Industries also upgraded unsafe checker plate cable trench covers so mobile plant can cross without damaging the vital infrastructure underneath.
