Australia’s annual construction and public works expo returns to Sydney in May and is the place to be for all the latest products and services – don’t miss it!

CivEnEx 2012

There’s nothing like being part of the action, with the annual Civil Engineering Expo the place to be for all the latest products and services.

Technology has changed the way people get their information, but nothing can match showing real equipment, and talking face to face with real people!

When contractors are in the market for a new piece of gear, they talk to the people who operate the machines. It's even better if they can see how the equipment performs in real conditions.

"At this year's CivEnEx a new demonstration area is being conveniently located within the main exhibition area. This will make it more convenient for visitors to review 'live' the latest equipment for all types of construction site challenges,” says CivEnEx Manager, Frank Sticka.

"Visitors sometimes miss seeing some important innovations, due to the demo area being on the hill above the main expo area. Bringing demonstrations closer to the exhibits will be helpful for both visitors and exhibitors.

"CivEnEx is more than just earthmoving equipment and agricultural implements. Visitors can see the latest in everything associated with civil works, infrastructure and open space management. The expo is widely recognised as a total supply and services environment for building better communities.

"It's the largest expo of its type in the Southern Hemisphere. The show attracts a large number of private sector contractors as well as engineers and plant operators from federal and state government departments.

"Each year innovative solutions are presented that help contractors and engineers adopt more efficient and cost-saving approaches to construction, remediation and maintenance tasks works, adds Frank.

CivEnEx will be held at the Sydney Dragway, Eastern Creek on Wednesday and Thursday, May 16 -17, 2012. Entry and parking is free.
