BEACHSIDE BARBECUE FOR ALL

Greenplate is proud to showcase one of its many ongoing electric barbecue projects located at Oceanside, Kawana Waters on Queensland’s beautiful Sunshine Coast.  

Stockland has transformed a premium beachside community into a major centre for health and medical excellence that is now known as the “Healthiest City by the Beach”. Encompassing 100 hectares, Stockland has designated 24 hectares to greenspace, which in part has become home to many Greenplate^® barbecues, allowing families to relax and enjoy barbecuing at its absolute best!

As part of Sunshine Coast Council’s LIM (Landscape Infrastructure Manual), they have chosen Greenplate^® as their preferred electric barbecue supplier for their parks. It has, therefore, come as a welcome choice to Council that Stockland has installed Greenplate^® barbecues into the Oceanside precinct, as Council will eventually maintain these barbecues once handed over by the Developer.

The Council know Greenplate^® barbecues are the safest on the market, with minimal to no maintenance required and running costs half that of any other electric barbecues on the market. Stockland has chosen the Greenplate Equal Access range of barbecues in both single and double, which caters for able- and disabled-bodied persons and the visually impaired. It is clear that they are thinking about all persons that wish to use the barbecues at Oceanside.
