Autumn is here and Leucadendrons provide amazing colours to any garden during the autumnal season. Leucadendrons are a genus of plants from the Proteaceae family - there are over 80 species in the genera.
The sizes of Leucadendron vary from 45cm to 3m and are very versatile. They can be used in many different garden situations and thrive alongside Australian natives and succulent plants. Ausflora Pacific has a large selection of over 20 varieties of Leucadendrons that any landscaper or designer is sure to find perfect for autumnal designs.
Leucadendrons are hardy drought-tolerant plants that require little maintenance. Plant in free-draining acidic soil and prune once a year to maintain shape and size and enjoy the spectacular foliage.
Ausflora’s ‘Misty Sunrise’ and ‘Safari Sunset’ Leucadendrons are two feature favourites for Autumn.
