Australian Porphyry stone is volcanic rock; its formation began over 250 million years ago. Porphyry stone is characterised by a high degree of hardness, a very high degree of resistance to abrasion and a V class (very low) slip resistance rating. These characteristics mean: a high resistance to salt attack; a completely non-slip surface-wet or dry; it will not wear; the colours will not fade; and algae will not bond to it.
These qualities, together with the fact that it requires very little ongoing maintenance, is why Australian Porphyry stone is acknowledged as the most important material available for paving and facing.
With service all of Australia and have distributors in both Melbourne and Brisbane.
