Soilbond’s Australian-made organic stabilising and binding agent has been put to the test on two specific projects in the past year. See how it performed.

A specially formulated binding agent, Soilbond® comes in an easily handled liquid product that can be conveniently mixed into materials used to form roads and paths. Its naturally sticky consistency provides the binding agent needed to create effective stabilisation. Naturally drived from pine trees, Soilbond® will not dissolve in water, so it will not be flushed out of roads or paths under wet conditions.

TONSLEY DEVELOPMENT IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA
Renewal SA is the government-managed organisation overseeing the Tonsley Development 10km outside of Adelaide. The 61 hectre site is to include infrastructure works and high-value manufacturing and commercial allotments.
Soilbond® was brought in on the development as the stabilising/binding agent for various paths and tracks on the site. Around 1,500 litres of Soilbond’s stabilising/binding agent was mixed with Fitzgerald Quarry Sand and distributed onsite.
The Australian-made organic binding agent is a beneficial alternative on a development thats goal is managing urban environments and renewal. The Tonsley Development will open to the public in 2027.

ROYAL MELBOURNE GOLF CLUB
During the recent Covid-19 lockdown, The Royal Melbourne Golf Club took the opportunity to rectify erosion issues on its paths and tracks around its courses using Soilbond® stabilising and binding agent.
The company delivered delivered 2000 litres of it’s highly-effective agent, which was mixed with crusher dust. The result was a beautiful, natural finish on the clubs revived paths and tracks.
