AUSTRALIAN-MADE BINDING AND STABILISING AGENT

17 Feb 2022

Soilbond’s Australian-made organic stabilising and binding agent has been put to the test on two specific projects in the past year. See how it performed.

Tonsley Development, SA

A specially formulated binding agent, Soilbond® comes in an easily handled liquid product that can be conveniently mixed into materials used to form roads and paths. Its naturally sticky consistency provides the binding agent needed to create effective stabilisation. Naturally drived from pine trees, Soilbond® will not dissolve in water, so it will not be flushed out of roads or paths under wet conditions.  Tonsley Development, SA

Putting Soilbond® to the test, these two Australian projects recently utilised this premium stabilising binding agent to great success. Find out how below:

TONSLEY DEVELOPMENT IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA

Renewal SA is the government-managed organisation overseeing the Tonsley Development 10km outside of Adelaide. The 61 hectre site is to include infrastructure works and high-value manufacturing and commercial allotments.

Soilbond® was brought in on the development as the stabilising/binding agent for various paths and tracks on the site. Around 1,500 litres of Soilbond’s stabilising/binding agent was mixed with Fitzgerald Quarry Sand and distributed onsite.

The Australian-made organic binding agent is a beneficial alternative on a development thats goal is managing urban environments and renewal. The Tonsley Development will open to the public in 2027.

ROYAL MELBOURNE GOLF CLUB

During the recent Covid-19 lockdown, The Royal Melbourne Golf Club took the opportunity to rectify erosion issues on its paths and tracks around its courses using Soilbond® stabilising and binding agent.

The company delivered delivered 2000 litres of it’s highly-effective agent, which was mixed with crusher dust. The result was a beautiful, natural finish on the clubs revived paths and tracks.  Royal Melbourne Golf Club, Vic

Recognised as one of the world’s best golf courses and leading golf clubs in Australia, the inclusion of Soilbond® to refurbish the urban environment added an organic sophistication and luxury to the infamous Royal Melbourne Golf Club.  Royal Melbourne Golf Club, Vic
