The dates have been set for the 2014 Australian Garden Show, a not-to-be-missed event for gardening enthusiasts.
The dates have been set for the 2014 Australian Garden Show Sydney, to be held once again in Sydney's iconic Centennial Park. The show will officially launch the start of the floral and garden shows that take place each year throughout NSW and will be held over four days from September 4 - 7, 2014.
Event Director, Anthony Bastic, AGB Events, will outline the show’s program in early 2014. “The 2014 Australian Garden Show Sydney promises to be a world-class outdoor event, which will once again attract the participation of highly respected international and Australian gardening experts.
We design the show so it is both inspiring and educational for gardening novices as well as the more experienced gardeners via our popular educational workshops and lecture series. The first week of spring is also the perfect time to showcase what nurseries and retailers have on offer and launch new plant releases,” he said.
Australia’s key gardening associations have once again endorsed the show. David Foster, CEO, Nursery & Garden Industry NSW & ACT Ltd (NGINA) believes, “As an industry association we represent the nursery and gardening industry, we believe the Australian Garden Show Sydney offers the very best opportunity for industry to showcase itself to a large public audience. Through the experience we gained via exhibiting at this year’s show, we can guarantee that this is a quality event with real gardens and real value.”

Angus Stewart, President, Horticultural Media Association of NSW (HMA NSW), states, “The Horticultural Media Association is an enthusiastic supporter of the Australian Garden Show Sydney and will be there in force in 2014 to educate and inspire the gardening public.
HMA members write for newspapers and magazines as well as broadcasting on radio and television and will be bringing this expertise to a show that is all about immersing the gardening public in a celebration of all things horticulture, gardening and outdoor living."
The Australian Garden Show Sydney is part of the NSW Events Calendar developed by Destination NSW on behalf of the NSW Government.
Minister for Tourism and Major Events, George Souris said, “The Australian Garden Show Sydney is set to inspire garden lovers, showcase the best in landscape design whilst at the same time delight participants with award winning floral displays and offering the latest in cutting edge green technology.”
