11 May 2016

AILA has just announced a stellar line-up for the 2016 NOT in My Backyard Festival speakers. With a large international presence you don’t want to miss out. Find out who’s in this year’s line-up here.

Over 30 speakers are now confirmed for AILA’s 2016 International Festival of Landscape Architecture: NOT in My Backyard.

Last year’s Festival was the largest gathering of landscape architects ever in Australia, and this year is set to be even bigger, with a larger international presence.

Creative Director, Richard Weller, along with the 7 curators (Dr Helen Armstrong AM, Josh Zeunert, Dr Julian Bolleter, Professor Paul Carter, Mark Raggatt, Dr Jillian Walliss, & Dr SueAnne Ware), have secured a stellar line-up of local and international speakers set to lead the conversation at the Festival in Canberra 27 - 30 October 2016.

The Festival will showcase a Conference, National Landscape Architecture Awards, public film screening, and a host of industry tours, exhibitions, IFLA Asia-Pacific Congress, city activations, short film competition and talks. It celebrates 50 years of Landscape Architecture in Australia as part of AILA's 50th anniversary.
