Lime Tuff is a trade name for a select form of Lomandra confertifolia subsp. pallida.
Lime Tuff has long arching lime green foliage that remains clean and tidy. It is evergreen in all kinds of climates from the coast to inland. It is very frost hardy and survives coast summer humidity very well. While not completely Phytophthora-resistant like Shara and Evergreen Baby, it is still hardier than other Lomandra confertifolia varieties.
700-900 mm tall x 600-800 mm wide
From late winter through to spring, with scented flowers borne among the foliage
Lime Tuff prefers full sun and up to 50 percent shade. In coast aspects it will remain neat when planted in protected positions. Be careful not to plant it in depressed garden contours that remain wet for long periods of time. it is best suited to raised or mounted garden beds.

Trim back foliage 1/3 to half every three to five years if needed. Use a slow-release fertiliser after trimming to encourage fresh regrowth.
