2011 LASA Awards record entries

The Landscape South Australia (LASA) Awards of Excellence was a rip rooaring success with a record number of outstanding entries. The Judges choice Award was nabbed by Adelaide Garden Design.

The Awards dinner, held at Adelaide Entertainment Centre Star Room, resulted in 83 outstanding entries and 53 visitations received from members spread out from Victor Harbor in the South through to Roxby Downs in the North. It demonstrates a renewed level of enthusiasm being shown by members in supporting the Awards.

The increased number of Award entries meant additional judges were required with judging conducted over a three-day period. The judges who had the difficult task of ejudicating were David Sadler, Margit Wright, Jon Lamb, Grant Dalwood, Craig Norman, Bruce Oswald, David Hurst and Kym Syrus who also did a wonderful job as MC for the night.

The Presentation of Awards Dinner along with other LASA activities conducted throughout the year was supported by the following Corporate Sponsors : Reece Irrigation, Garden Grove, Wholesale Plants & Products, Jeffries Group, Customstone SA, Gardens at Night and Universal Magazines.
