Description | Cycad revoluta is a woody trunked palm like plant, with a rosette shaped crown and stiff pinnate shaped leaves radiating outwards. Grown as a glasshouse specimen in cool climates and is very slow growing taking three to seven years to establish, living for more than 100 years. Used as a feature plant in courtyards or large rockeries and around water features for a tropical effect.
