The iconic Bald Hill lookout, situated at Stanwell Park in Sydney’s Royal National Park, is a haven for locals, tourists and thrill-seeking paragliders! When Woollongong City Council wanted to refresh the facilities at this picturesque location they worked closely with botton + gardiner to deliver furniture that would further enhance the experience for users of the area.

The council brief required adaptable furniture that could work as a safety barrier at the carpark threshold as well as provide unique and attractive seating for the visitors to the lookout. botton + gardiner developed a range of unique and robust pre-cast concrete plinths that could be standalone bench seating or utilised as a mount for their iconic Urban Seat.

The use of pre-cast concrete, cast aluminium and DuraSlat™ means these outdoor pieces are right at home in the harsh coastal environment.
